Your financial options for childcare provisionPaintpots is committed to providing top quality child care at affordable prices. We also maintain a close watch on what government and local government support is available to help you make this vital investment in your child’s future. We have highlighted a number of options and suggest that you get in contact with your chosen Paintpots nursery to discuss your specific circumstances.
Free early education for two year olds
In some of our nurseries the local authority will provide 15 hours of free early education per week for two year old children for qualifying parents.
Early Education entitlement for three and four year olds
All children can benefit from free Early Education entitlement from the term that falls after their third birthday. The entitlement is normally spread over 38 weeks per year. If you claim fewer than 15 hours per week it can be spread over a longer time period. Additional hours will be charged at our standard rates and the entitlement doesn’t cover the provision of food.
Qualifying parents may receive tax credits to cover up to 70 per cent of your childcare costs up to:
- £175 per week for one child
- £300 per week for two or more children
It is worth checking whether your employer offers vouchers to help with childcare costs. These do not attract tax or National Insurance and could save you a lot of money.
