Here at Paintpots Manchester, we love using tuff spots in our daily play and we use a variety of shapes and sizes to enhance the children’s development and learning. Tuff spots are easy, fun and affordable and can be easily done at home for a stimulated and enjoyable play for your child.
This allows children to develop their aspect on the world showing care and concern for living things and the environment
Here at Paintpots Manchester we share all your children’s experiences, development goals and next steps, assessments and achievements for you to continue at home for extra support in succeeding. We also encourage parents to continue learning at home with our parent packs with activities in to take home to do, reading sacks and by having Parent evenings to discuss potential steps to take at home.
When your child is at Paint Pots they will have many opportunities to create, build, investigate and discover. Best of all, we take care of the mess!
Schemas and schematic play has a large role in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS curriculum used in settings with children under 5 years), as it offers play and exploration which is referred to in the EYFS.
Here at Paintpots, we want to make sure all children have the best start when it comes to their learning. Reading from a young age is important, as it sets a child up for success and gives them a head start in absorbing knowledge ready for their start at school.
We are so pleased with our recent ‘Stay and Play’ sessions and couldn’t wait to tell you all about them!
So, your child has just turned 3 and you’re wondering about the 30 hours you’ve heard about, so what’s the score?
We also introduced colour recognition to this activity and explored different materials by encouraging the children to mix the powder paint with water, discussing causes and effect.
We hope everyone enjoys celebrating Mothers day 2019, as much as all of us here at Paintpots Manchester have done.
We have discussed the importance of reading from a baby onwards in a previous Blog, and here at Paintpots Manchester we take reading seriously and encourage all parents to join in reading with their children at all ages.
With all the generous donations of money and items by parents, staff and family friends, we were able to reach a fantastic amount of £600.00. We are almost there to reach our goal. You can still make donations to the nursery, and there are still items from the jumble sale available to purchase.
Each month we look at and celebrate a different country from where the children in our nursery are from. This month we have celebrated China as our country of the month.
This week we celebrated Valentine’s Day with all our children, we have enjoyed getting creative with our cards and baking fabulous cakes.
On behalf of our nursery, we are so pleased to announce we will be holding a fundraising event at Paintpots Day Nursery Manchester. This event will take place Saturday 16th March, to raise money to purchase a defibrillator for our setting.
